Why Bring Your Makeup Artist With You
Your wedding day isn’t the time to take a chance on someone you’ve never met. When you bring your own makeup artist, you get someone who already knows your skin, your style, and exactly what you want — someone you’ve trialled with and trust. No language barriers, no surprises, no hoping for the best with a local artist you found online.
I’ve styled brides at destination weddings across Europe — from hilltop villas in Tuscany and sun-soaked ceremonies in Crete and Sicily, to styled shoots in Paris. I know what it takes to deliver the same standard of work abroad as I do at a London wedding. Heat, humidity, early starts, unfamiliar getting-ready spaces, transporting a full professional kit through airports — these are things I’ve navigated first-hand, not hypothetically.
I bring long-wearing, climate-appropriate products, I adapt the schedule to how things work on the ground, and I keep the morning calm and enjoyable even when the logistics are more complex than they would be at home.
For larger bridal parties, I bring additional team members with me so everyone is styled on time without rushing. Whether it’s just you or a full party of bridesmaids, mothers, and guests, I’ll plan the schedule and the team to fit.
What to Expect
My approach is the same wherever I work: a thorough consultation beforehand so I understand exactly what you want, a trial where possible, and a relaxed, organised wedding morning. The only difference is the view.
I use professional, long-wearing products chosen specifically for the climate you’re getting married in, and I bring backups of everything. You won’t need to worry about a thing on the morning — that’s my job.
Pricing and Travel
Pricing per service is the same as on the pricelist plus £150 for each travel day. There is a minimum requirement of £750 for wedding day services with Adie plus the two travel days.
Three days of availability is the minimum usually required — one day to travel out, the wedding day, and one day to travel home. This may vary depending on the timing of your events and flights.
The client covers travel and accommodation costs. I’ll provide a clear estimate upfront so there are no surprises.
